Vacation on board Dannebrog

After the Crown Prince couple and all four children spend a few weeks at Gråsten castle along with Queen Margrethe, here, they enjoyed some time at Kos in Greece. Now the Crown Prince couple is on an unofficial travel on board the royal yacht Dannebrog along with their children. They will be visiting several different places in Denmark.

August 7th
On Monday the royal family payed a visit to Møns Klint on the island of Møn. Three pictures have been published on Facebook from the visit with caption telling that they looked at fossils on the beach and visited GeoCenter at Møn. Nothing tells for how long the trip will last, but all kids are going back to school within the next week or so.

Tuesday 8th
On board Dannebrog the Crown Prince couple and their four children payed a visit to Faaborg. Among others, the royal family visited the art museum Faaborg Museum during their day. They were also spotted walking in the streets of Faaborg. Crown Prince Frederik was the one handling the boat from Dannebrog to Faaborg harbor.

August 9th
On their third day on board Dannebrog crossing the seas across Denmark, the Crown Princes couple visited Vejle along with all four children. Among others they visited the exploratorium Kongernes Jelling and watched the famous Jellinge stone which goes back to year 965.

August 10th
On August 10 the Crown Princess enjoyed the day along with her four children by visiting Den Gamle By in Aarhus, here, and Fregatten Jylland, an long sailing boat from 1860, in Ebeltoft. Back in February the Crown Princess visited Den Gamle by in Aarhus to attend the inauguration of the jewellery exhibition by the name "The Jewellery Box". Later on I visited the exhibition myself, here. Maybe the exhibition also caught her girl's attention during the visit?

A few days later the Crown Prince family ended up in Copenhagen again and went for a little walk from Dannebrog to Frederik VIIIs palace, Amalienborg, here.
