Big news: the Danish royal family is on social media

This is something I never in my wildest dreams thought would happen. Yes, Denmark is has a very modern monarchy with a royal family like no other place in the world. Still, things keep as usual. Almost. Today great news were announced. The Danish royal family has embraced the modern technology by entering social media. We are now able to follow the royal family's whereabouts on both Facebook, here, and Instagram, here. Personally, it is something I have been waiting for in years. Something I never thought would become a reality. Now it is in fact the reality. Today, at 12:00 pm the first picture was posted showing the Queen in her residence. The picture is takin by her oldest son, Crown Prince Frederik. I am truly looking forward to keep up with the family on social media.

Along with a 1,000 other participants, scientists and health works etc. from more than 36 different countries, the Crown Princess attended as patron the opening of the first European Emergency Medical Services 2016 congress, which took place in the center of Copenhagen at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center. They were all gathered in Copenhagen to share stories and experiences on how to improve care for actuate patients with among others cardiac arrest, stroke and blood clots outside the hospital/on their way to the hospital. The Crown Princess was welcomed by little Elvira, who received a cardiac arrest, when she was 1 year old. She survived because of the outstanding efforts from her nanny, resuscitation, paramedics and hospital. Elvira was the lucky one to hand over  a bouquet of flowers to the Crown Princess, who seemed really happy meeting Elvira. To officially open the EEMS2016 congress, the Crown Princess gave a short speech.

According to Kongehuset, here, she visited 'Laerdal Medical' focusing on how to save lives. The visit was followed by a visit at TrygFonden's workshop, where she was introduced to a AED network. It was with great interested that the Crown Princess was enlightened about the latest technology.  Before leaving the congress, after about an hour or so, she was also introduced to the capital's brand new ambulances that play music. Her participation didn't go unnoticed; both national and international press followed her around such as the proud and honored director of the Prehospital Business in the Capital Region, Freddy Lippert. He is also the host of the congress.

I am absolutely thrilled to see her wearing that Ralph Lauren (collection: Blue Label) dress again. I fell in love with it the second she wore it first time in 2010, when the royal couple visited Arlington National Cemetery, here. It is such a remarkable dress featuring an incredible floral print. Like in 2010, she was wearing her stylish Christian Louboutin pumps. A really great match. Two pieces proving that a classy style is always trendy, no matter what time a year it is. A detail about this outfit I have to mention, is the fact that she is wearing a coral nail polish which seems to be one of her favourite colours to wear right now. The last four events Mary has attend, she has matched her outfit with this significant colour. Very chic. Another super classy accessory - white pearls. Both bracelet and earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and have been worn at multiple occasions before. As bag she wore a beige quilted Chanel bag featuring the iconic chain strap and golden logo. I'm not quite sure it's the exact same model I've shared with you below, but maybe you can help me. What I know for sure is that two of her three diamond rings are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. My personally  number one favourite jewellery brand. Yet another wonderful outfit worn by the Crown Princess.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary arrives to the Royal Chapel, Stockholm

So a few days late, it is time for us to talk about the christening in Sweden on Friday taking place in the Royal Chapel, Stockholm. It all began at 12:00 pm. local time. My guess is that the Crown Prince couple arrived to Sweden a few hours before that. I haven't really been able to find out the exact time, but they were warmly welcomed at the Swedish royal palace. They arrived almost unnoticed in a black car. We rarely get to see these moment, but I love when we do. Especially, because we get a glimpse of the couple at more private event.

The arrival is not ass exciting as the christening is self, but I am still very interested in her outfit. Now and then we get to see these arrival-moment, when the couple is attending weddings and christenings. Here Mary is dressed way more casual and informal. That is something most of us like to see. Her everyday outfits are inspirational and often very easy to copy. This time we also got to see her. hairstyle before adding a huge hat, hairpins or feather ornament. Judging from what I have seen so far, I think we can except something extraordinary for the christening. Even at the arrival she was dressed in a chic pair of trousers and a matching coat. Both in the same navy blue color. Probably Mary wore a matching blouse as well, or maybe even something brown to compliment the accessories. As the classy lady she is, she accessorized it with a pair of lovely brown pumps and her caramel Ralph Lauren bag. I have never been able to identify the pumps. They look similar to something from Jimmy Choo. I'd love to see this outfit again. The combo of a rather casual outfit with that updo, is simply gorgeous.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attends the christening in the Royal Chapel

Shortly before noon, all guests started arriving to the royal chapel in Stockholm to attend the first of two christenings this year. It was time for Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel to christen their second child, a son by the name Prince Oscar. Guests from near and far, were all gathered to celebrate this little fellow, who was born in March. The Danish Crown Prince couple attended both as close friends and family. Also because of the fact that Crown Prince Frederik has been chosen to become Prince Oscar's godfather along with Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Princess Madeleine of Sweden (his aunt), Oscar Magnuson (Victoria's cousin) and Hans Åström (Daniel's cousin). As the Crown Prince is now godfather of Prince Oscar; his wife is godmother for his older sister Princess Estelle. Because of this the Crown Princess was accompanied by Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and Crown Prince Frederik went with Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. All four of them seemed really to enjoy each others company. During the christening, the godparents delivered a reading and as a sign of blessing they held hands above the little Prince.

Breathtaking as always, Mary stunned the world with her edgy christening look. Truly a remarkable outfit. Right away I thought of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, because of the wide brimmed hat and stylish dress. Because her outfit reminded me so much of something Queen Maxima would wear, I immediately began my search for the new dress at some of Maxima's usual designers as Natan, Max Mara, L.K. Bennett etc. I probably tired about 25 different designers without a single similar design at all. Meanwhile I was in contact with a good friend of mine and we shared our thoughts. Suddenly, Kate was able to identify Mary's new floral printed dress at Max Mara (collection: Max Mara Elegante). Amazing how anyone can make something so beautiful. As the dress, she wore a lovely black Susanne Juul hat featuring a huge creamy white flower on the side.  Both earrings, one of two bracelets and the ring featuring a black pearl are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. She embraced the style with a pair of black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi as well. As another perfect accessory, she wore a checkered clutch. We have seen this at a couple of other occasions. Still its identity is unknown. I strongly believe it is from Prada because of a similar model, here. What do you think? She spiced up the rather monochrome with a coral nail polish and a matching lipgloss. Seriously, what is not to love?

I was also truly amazed by Princess Sofia's outfit. She impressed me in that beautiful baby blue gown, such as Princess Madeleine looked great in that powder pink dress featuring incredible sleeves. The Swedish women really know what to wear for such an event.

'Free of Bullying' launched in nurseries and daycares

Tuesdays, May 24th

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of the Mary Foundation's anti-bullying project Free of Bullying in nurseries and daycares. The launching happened in Vallensbæk Beach.

Like the Mary Foundation, the Free of Bullying project has been a huge success both in Denmark and abroad. Till today the project was created to children of the age of kindergarten and pre-school. Now it is taken to the next level: nurseries and daycares - a little younger audience than previously. Free of Bullying is developed in collaboration of the Mary Foundation and Save the Children Denmark, which both were represented at the launching taking place in Vallensbæk municipality. As the first municipality in Denmark, so far, Vallensbæk use the project in their everyday's.

The sun was shining, when the Crown Princess around noon arrived to the nursery Sydstjernen, where she was welcomed by lots of children, the Secretary General of Save the Children Denmark, Jonas Keiding Lindholm and Major Henrik Rasmussen. Inside the Crown Princess sat down on a pillow on the floor enjoying some time with all the lovely children, who all seemed very interested in this strange new woman with dark hair. Along with the children she was singing, dancing and playing with some of the tools from the anti bullying program. Especially the little purple Free of Bullying-teddy bear was really popular. The Crown Princess played along and had a really good time interacting with the children. To me it seems like the most incredible atmosphere. She is literally just sitting on the floor, paying attention to the children and nothing else. I imagine her as a mother just like this. The brilliant weather gave an opportunity for all of them to enjoy some time with the Crown Princess out site on the playground. Grounded as always, I think it was a great day for everybody. She also paid a visit to the daycare Stien just across the street, where she was one more time welcomed by lots of excited children, who all wanted a glimpse of the Crown Princess.

Mary just keep surprising me. Over and over again, we see some outfits that are stylish, innovative and of course extremely beautiful. I know, I keep saying that ever time but it's really what gets to me every single time I see new pictures of her. As always she amazed me with her outfit. Simple and spot on. I know for sure this is an outfit I will try out with the pair of similar trousers I have in my own wardrobe. Because that was exactly what she wore; a pair of brand new trousers featuring a significant white pattern. My gut told me that is had to be from Julie Fagerholt Heartmade and I was right. Finally I was right about something. As easy as it was for me to make a guess about the trousers, as troubled have I been trying to figure out where the new white blazer is from. She has worn a white blazer before, here, but it accrue not to be the same. Any ideas? I've tried Zara, Massimo Dutti, By Malene Birger and Ganni. Still, nothing. Matching the pattern of her trousers and white blazer she wore a plane white blouse. Can't really tell anything about it. Her shoes are much more interesting. A a pair of navy blue suede wedges I believe is a reuse, here, here & here. They are told to be from L.K. Bennett. She added jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry to sparkle on a sunny day.

Day 4. The Women Deliver Conference 2016

Crown Princess Mary attended as patron the last day with the 4th Women Deliver Conference 2016here, in Bella Center, Copenhagen.

It has been four really long days for the Crown Princess and the other 5,500 participants, who have participated in the 4th Women Deliver Conference 2016 that has been taken place in Bella Center in Copenhagen this year. As patron of the conference, Crown Princess Mary has had a lot to do. She has met so many people, heard different stories and had the chance to met foundations and organizations working for girls and women all over the world. Along with Denmark, are representatives gathered from 169 different countries all to share knowledge on how to improve girls and women's rights, health and well-being. Before attending the final event of the conference, she joined a few meeting with among others Birgitte Handwerk, who is a fundraiser for the organization Orchid Project, fighting to stop female genital mutilation. The Crown Princess also met the Belgian artist Kity Mbiango. Some of his women's portraits, were exhibited at the Bella Center as she experienced herself, when she was given a guided tour by the artist. At 3:00 pm. local time it was time for the Crown Princess and all the participants to close the conference. This was done with lots of sining, dancing and happy faces. Along with Princess Mabel of the Netherlands, the Crown Princess danced in first row and enjoyed artists entertaining on the big stage. It is really wonderful to see people sining and dancing. I can't imagine a better way ending such as successful 4th Women Deliver Conference and celebrate the life of girls and women.

As successful as the conference I think her outfits the last four days have been nothing else than a true success. Looking gorgeous in a bright blue dress, Mary amazed me with what she had chosen to wear the final day. I am pretty sure we have seen the combination of the blue dress and that emerald green brooch before, on March 10th 2015, when she attended both 8th Public Private Dialogue Workshop 2015 and a painting exhibition with the Home Guard, here. So what do you say? - is she actually wearing the same combo? The two colours, blue and green, compliment each other really really well. Makes both colors stand out, beautifully. I have never been able to find out about neither dress or brooch, but if you have some idea who could have designed two pieces, I would love to hear from you. Maybe your idea leads me to the one we are looking for. In another wonderful brown color, she added her bag from Ralph Lauren, a classic and outstanding accessory I never get tired of. She also stunned me with the other accessories she had chosen: a golden Cartier watch, diamond earrings as well as three diamond rings from among others Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love her curly hairstyle, which makes a great match to the rest of her outfit. What shoes she is wearing? - well I don't know. Unfortunately, I haven't found any pictures.

Mixed news

Last Thursday on May 12th, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary hosted a dinner for the international galley owners from Art Basel in Frederik VIII's Palace, here. Before the dinner Crown Prince Frederik showed the special invited guests around and told all about the art work decorating the walls in Frederik VIII's Palace that were made when the palace was renovated. The Crown Princess was dressed beautifully in an emerald green Prada dress and nude pumps. Perfect dressed as always, right?

About a week ago, a new picture appeared of the Crown Princess and the twins on Instagram - or at least that's where I spotted it, here. Either the Crown Princess is taken the twins to or from daycare on the family's special bike. I even tend to say it has become a characteristic for the Crown Prince couple picking up their children from daycare on a bike. This time she was caught on camera with a happy smile on her face dressed casual in a striped blouse and black jeans. Her hair was loose and her eyes protected by classy Prada shades.

Recently, the Crown Princess visited one of the world's poorest countries Burkina Faso along with Foreign Minister, Kristian Jensen to see for herself what she has been working with over the last seven years: a world with more equality for girls and women. To follow her on this journey was a special experience for me. Like something we had never seen before, despite this is just one of many abroad visits. So, when I discovered that a camera crew had followed her in Burkina Faso I was thrilled. No better way for her to tell all about her experiences. Then the day before yesterday Crown Princess Mary's Mission was broadcasted on Danish TV. The Crown Princess talks about her trip and why it is so important for her to continue fighting for gender equality. I would recommend you to watch the broadcast.

According to Billed Bladet, here, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will attend the christening of Prince Oscar of Sweden on May 27th taking place in Stockholm. Prince Oscar is the second child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.

Crown Princess Mary attending the Women Deliver Conference 2016

Despite time a day the Crown Princess was ready to attend another more day with the Women Deliver Conference 2016 hosted by Denmark this year. It is something we have waited for the last year or so, and now the conference is soon over, but not quite yet. We still have one days left before it all ends.

The first two days have been great and maybe a little overwhelming to the Crown Princess, who is patron of the conference. It has been three busy days for her. She has attended numerous sessions, participated in workshops, spoken at all kinds of events and met a lot of people all representing each and their area. Along with the 5,500 participants, I think she has had some quite interesting days with lots of inspiration and new networks for future collaboration. It is a subject with so many different aspects, which requires both time and commitment to work with - something she certainly has done over the last 7 years in Denmark and abroad. She was, among others, recently in Burkina Faso, where she saw with her own eyes what she is fighting for: a world with more equality for girls and women. On this third day, she began her day already at 6:50 am. local time meeting with Amplify Change. From the moment she arrived, her day was packed with places to be and people to speak with. She also accompanied her husband when he, as IOC member, spoke at DIF/IOC side event such as they wrote a statement on 'Women Deliver for Good Signing Wall' together.

With yesterday's outfit I expected way more than what we got today. Not that I do not like her outfit because I really do, but yesterday's look was to me more than splendid. On the third day she was classy dressed in a combo we have seen a few times before, but it works really well with that white pleated blouse from Prada (found by Heaven) and paisley printed JOSEPH skirt. Gives me a happy feeling of summer, when she is wearing that skirt. She matched it with her beloved grey python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Think it was one of her first pair of Gianvito Rossi shoes. I clearly remember, when I confused tried to identify them, which I actually did and from then we have seen her multiple times in these lovely pumps. Embracing a modern and polished style she had chosen some incredible pieces of jewellery; golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewellery featuring a large white pearl, one of her diamond bracelets matching the rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and of course a bracelet from the same designer as the earrings. To keep track on time, Mary wore her expensive golden Cartier watch. What we now have left is the dazzling beige leather bag, which of course is one of her Prada bags. An energetic and polished look that works every single time.

Crown Princess Mary attending a culture evening in Tivoli
Embed from Getty Images

Around 7:00 o'clock, it was finally time for the Crown Princess to attend the days last event: a culture evening in Tivoli, Copenhagen. An event all 5,500 participants of the Women Deliver Conference 2016, were invited to attend. Despite she had been on the run all day long, she was in a brilliant mood.

The participants from 169 different countries all over the world, got the chance to see for themselves what a country Denmark is and meet some of the Danish organizations working to makes life better for girls and women. Among other, were KVINFO and the Mothers Help represented ready to tell all about their work. Along with Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen, the Crown Princess enjoyed one more evening meeting a lot of new people, even some she has met at a previous occasion in her everyday work. With this major event in Tivoli, ended a successful day for the Crown Princess. Only one more day left and everything she helped planning is (finally) over.

Unfortunately, we only have very few pictures from her last attendance in Tivoli, where she was present at the culture evening along with the 5,500 special invited participants of the conference. Luckily, I was able to find enough to get a glimpse of her outfit that I already have come to love. The reason is simple: because that checkered kimono is one amazing piece. She wore it for the first time, when she was interviewed in Berlingske, here, on violence against women. For a very long time I have had no clue where to find her blouse. Heaven then shared a model from Lanvin with me and I think she is on to something. The two models look more than similar. I am in no doubt sure that she's wearing a Lanvin blouse at the evening event in Tivoli.

She embraced the style  with a thin snakeskin belt from Balenciaga. The mix of two different patterns is a great idea. The way she belted the blouse is also very clever. Maybe it's worth a try? With loose hair and natural makeup she adore me with a pair of Jewlscph earrings and other jewellery from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Dulong Fine Jewelry. I believe the pumps are from SAND Copenhagen, but really it's juts a guess. After all, she has many pairs of black pumps very similar to these. Do you see something I have forgotten?

Crown Princess Mary attending events at the Women Deliver Conference 2016

From early morning, patron of the Women Deliver Conference 2016 Crown Princess Mary was on the go to attend another day at the international conference on girls and women's health, right and well-being. Shortly before she arrived, Princess Benedikte attended an early meeting, where she gave a speech and listened interested to everything that was told. She showed full support and made it clear that it must be more than just words and good intentions. Now is the time to make a difference. When the Crown Princess arrived to the Belle Centre the two royal women met briefly before she had leave for another event expecting her presents. The first event she attended was the Morning Plenary: A Girl's and Women's Lens on the SDG's, which Princess Benedikte later followed with great interest. During the day she was present at several events; Healthy Women, Healthy Economics, Women empower business, where she also gave a speech and Tough talks - a 21th century agenda for SRHR.

After a long day, meeting hundreds of activists, politicians, leaders form foundations and organizations her day wasn't finished yet. Around 4:00 pm. local time, the Crown Princess gave a strong speech at Christiansborg Castle, which caught everybody's attention on occasion of the photo exhibition #Childmothers. The exhibition is focusing on girls becoming a mother before the age of 15. Strong as her speech was the exhibition and made a great impression on the Crown Princess, who took time to admire pictures of young mothers. The pictures are taken by photographer Pieter ten Hoopen and journalist Sofia Klemming Nordenskiöld in both Bangladesh, Zambia and Burkina Faso.

Mary was dressed in a strong and powerful outfit. She matched long trousers and a feminine jacket. A rather masculine outfit, but with a feminine touch. Think we got to see a very interesting look. First of all the combination of Julie Fagerholdt Heartmade (collection: Winter Holliday 2015) trousers and a black peplum jacket. I am thrilled to see her in trousers again. Pretty sure you remember them from, when she attended Copenhagen Fashion Week 2016, hereThe amazing thing about her look is differently the new black wrap jacket. First it was believed that she has worn it at a previous event, but with the help from Heaven it has now been found at the brand Scanlan Theodore. She wore a dress from the same designer in 2013 at a birthday party in Norway, hereLike the classy and sophisticated woman she is, she was wearing a pair of black suede pointed pumps. I strongly believe they are from Gianvito Rossi, though I haven't been able to find pictures proving it for sure. Simple as her hairstyle, Mary accessorized her powerful look with diamond stearrings, her usual diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, a Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet and of course the thing we all noticed - her new necklace. With some help from Pernille, Kate and the designer herself, I can tell that Mary is wearing a medium size, 18 ct. white gold necklace with 23 diamond from Katerina PitznerIt can be worn short or long because of the adjustable chain. Last but not least we have the fabulous Prada tote bag.

Crown Princess Mary attended dinner with UN Foundation of directors

It had been a really long day for the Crown Princess, who began her day early in the morning with a meeting with Morning Plenary: A Girl's and Women's Lens on the SDG's. With many different impressions throughout the day, it wasn't over quite yet. About an hour or so before she attended the dinner at Odd Fellows Palace in Copenhagen, she had given a speech and attended the Champions Award ICRW, where she also handed over awards to Jill Sheffield and Melinda French Gates. Working for about ten hours, the Crown Princess arrived to Odd Fellows Palace not that far from her own home at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg. She was not the only guest of honor at the dinner. Also former Norwegian Prime Minister, Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Development Cooperation Christian Friis Bach, Red Cross Secretary General Anders Ladekarl and United States Ambassador in Denmark Rufus Gifford were present. The dinner had been organized by the UN Foundation.

Arriving to the dinner Mary was beautifully dressed in a new causal black dress featuring puffed sleeves and buttons on the back, which has now been identified as a Julie Fagerholt Heartmade (collection: Winter Holiday 2015) dress. Thanks to Kate, who told me about the dress. Maybe not the most impressive we have seen so far, but it really doesn't matter. I like its simplicity and elegancy. A little 70s inspired. With the embellished belt she really embraced the evening style with perfection. Such a beauty. To keep everything in style, she was wearing chic Gianvito Rossi pumps featuring pointed metallic cap toe. Like during the day she chose her Prada leather bag and diamond earrings. One great way to end a really long and successful day.

Day 1. The Women Deliver Conference 2016

Monday, May 16th

Accompanied by her husband the Crown Princess attended the official opening of the Women Deliver Conference 2016here, in Bella Centre. Before the opening ceremony the Crown Princess participated in several events at the conference with, among others, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. Princess Benedikte also attended the event.

Now it is here: the 4th Women Deliver Conference 2016 has arrived to Denmark. Around a year or two ago, it was announced that the international conference would be held in Copenhagen and now it is time. Since the announcement, I have imagined how many things had to get in order before the grand opening. This is not something that happen overnight. And the Crown Princess has been part of the process all along by participating pre-events, meting and all kinds of preparation of the conference. She was also announced patron of the event. Everything that goes prier to the opening, culminated at the moment when she opened the conference with the words: "I - an I believe I also speak and behalf of Denmark, WE are truly honored to host such an ambitious and action-driven conference." More than 5,500 representatives from over 169 differentiation nations all over the world were gathered in Copenhagen. Following the speech she atteneded several events, among others with the Maternity Foundation and Young Leaders, where she was accompanied by Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. The many speakers clearly impressed the two royal women such as they were impressed by them. At 4:00 o'clock it was time for the Crown Princess to officially open the conference with all it takes. She arrived along with her husband, Princess Benedikte and Princess Mabel of the Netherlands. The Crown Prince expressed how proud he is of his wife for everything she's doing. We are all proud of her, right?

To represent Denmark at such a prominent conference is one thing, but Mary is also the patron, which means she's not only just representing her own country, but everything the Women Deliver Conference stands for: that investment in girls and women makes a difference to everybody. This takes a sophisticated and polished outfit, which I differently think Mary hit spot on with that Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS Black) floral printed skirt, white pleated blouse possibly from By Malene Birger and short black Prada jacket. An outfit we have seen before at a meeting with the UNFPA, here, where she met with Executive Director of UNFPA Dr Babtunde Osatimehin. Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen also attended like he did yesterday. To match the rest of the outfit she wore a pair of two-colour statement earrings. I haven't been able to identify them even though she has worn them at several other occasion. The colorful brooch is the logo of Women Deliver and is a symbol for the conference worn by many of the participants. To carryout her opening address, pen and paper Mary had chosen her caramel leather bag from Ralph Lauren. She embrace the style with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps that made the outfit complete. I'm pretty sure she is also wearing a multicolour bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry. A strong and power look, like the woman wearing it.

The Women Deliver conference has to be one of the most prestiges events the Crown Princess will attend in 2016. Not to forget the fact that she is elected as patron for the conference. Very soon she will be standing in front of 5,000 people - international leaders, politicians, other royal family members etc. and officially opened the largest conference on rights, health, reproductive health and well-being for girls and women. Women Deliver 2016 is on everybody's lips right now. The conference is, as told, being hosted by Denmark and takes place from May 16-19th in Copenhagen. Sunday afternoon the Crown Princess attended as guest of honor a reception at the Australian Ambassador's residence for Australian delegates attendening the conference. The reception is part of the preparation before the opening on May 16th. She was warmly welcomed by the Australian Ambassador in Denmark, Damien Miller and leader of the Australian Women Deliver delegation, Natasha Stott Despoja. The Crown Princess was truly relaxed and joyful at the arrival. This more informal event was a perfect start before the conference a couple of days later. It was not a part of her official calendar, but I really think she enjoyed the afternoon with the rest of the Australian delegation.

Finally we get something a little more colorful. That blue color is both fun and eye-catching. The last week we have had the most amazing weather in Denmark. Great for dresses and pastel colors. That she embraced, when attending the 150th anniversary celebration of the Royal Danish Yacht Club at the Opera house in Copenhagen, here, just a few days ago. At yesterday's reception we saw something completely else by wearing an incredible bright blue jumpsuit from YDE Copenhagen (collection: SS16). I am a huge fan of jumpsuit (and blue), which makes me super thrilled to see this combo. It is with help from Pernille and Kate that I am able to tell you about the jumpsuit. Thanks to both of them. The match of a bright color and nude is a clever trick to remember. Something Mary does occasionally and it works very single time. She had chosen a latte beige Naledi Copenhagen clutch. Seems like she loves her nude Prada pumps pretty much, because she has been wearing them quite a lot lately. Do you like them? I think they are a great match to the jumpsuit, especially with the beige belt featuring rivets. Do you remember when she wore the rivet belt the first time? It was first worn with her white JOSEPH dress and nude Christian Louboutin pumps, when the couple visited Germany last year. I never been able to identify it but I always has Valentino in mind. She embraced the simple and edgy style by wearing only a few other accessories. The golden earrings are from Pureheart, the two diamond rings are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a bracelet. The lack of pictures makes it almost impossible for me to tell the identity of the bracelet. A guess could be something from Anni Lu.

Turists visiting Copenhagen experienced something extraordinary yesterday evening, when the queen, her husband and the Crown Prince Couple, were about to attend one of the biggest gala dinners this year. The dinner is a celebration of the Royal Danish Yacht Club's 150th anniversary, which took place at the Opera, opposite of Amalienborg palace. The Crown Prince couple was the first to arrive. The couple walked from their home in Frederik VIII's Palace to the dock, waiting for Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik to arrive. It was a smily Crown Prince Couple, who met the Queen and Prince Henrik at the dock, maybe it was because of the weather which was just brilliant. Perfect for an evening were the dresscode allows gowns. Lovely to see all of them together. That does not happen very often any more. It was also great to see Prince Henrik. We have not seen him much lately, well since the queen announced his retirement on New Years eve. The four royal family members weren't the only one to attend the grand event at the Opera house. The Royal Danish Tacht Club has around 2,000 members and most of them attended the 150th anniversary. What an event.

Just like the evening sun shining, Mary shone wearing her stunning powder pink YDE Copenhagen gown. It is designed by the designer himself, Ole Yde. One gown; worn twice before. One time in Vietnam (first picture above) and in time in Australia (second picture above). But it is the first time we see her in the dress on Danish ground. I've loved this dress from the first time I laid eyes on it. The asymmetric shoulder, different length layers and waist band. She looks just great. What I first noticed about yesterday evening's outfit; is that the black detail, has now changed to a huge flower. So with a powder pink rose, she wore matching accessories. I haven't managed to find any quality pictures from the celebration yet, which makes it so difficult for me to identify all of the accessories she wore. But here is what I see. Maybe you even notified something I didn't see. She embraced the wonderful style by wearing her Annikat earrings. I also see a golden ring and bracelet, possible worn here once before, but not good enough to find out more about it. A beautiful match. Her hairstyle also has to be mentioned. It is the most gorgeous hairstyle we have seen in a very long time. Love these feminine updos. Looks even more magnificent with the golden hairpins as seen in 2013, here. I strongly believe that she wore her golden leather pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Last but not least we have to talk about the snake skin clutch. It is told to be from Judith Leiber. That's why I requested the designer about the clutch. They replied that they were not able to tell, unless they got to see it. And we all know that is not possible. Another idea has been shared with me. That her clutch could be from  Uterqüe. A brand Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are very fund of. Let me know what you think. They two of them indeed look similar.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016

Tuesday, May 12th

As patron, Crown Princess Mary attended the world's largest event on sustainable fashion  Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016, here, which took place at DR's Concert House.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit was last held two years ago. This year 'responsible innovation' acted theme of the event and features the Crown Princess as patron and one of the keynote speakers, who opened the 4th edition of the summit with her speech in English. In her speech she talked about the importance of a sustainable fashion industry for the economic, environment and socially. She arrived to DR's Concert House at Amager in the morning to attend the official opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016, which is the world's largest event on sustainable fashion gathering representatives from all over the world. More than 1200 people are part of the summit this year. The Crown Princess was welcomed by Roberta at 4, who was the luck girl to hand over a bouquet of flowers to the Crown Princess. The Crown Princess has attended the summit three times before - in 2009, 2012 and 2014. She listed to several speakers and panel debates during her visit at the summit. Many of the attendances had enjoyed a dinner with the Crown Prince couple the day before, when they hosted a dinner on occasion, here, of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016 at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg.

Fashion with a purpose is what all this is about. The fashion industry is huge worldwide business. Millions are each year spend on the fashion industry, which is why we need to be aware of our responsibility. Sustainable fashion and in general sustainable solutions are a way to go. Sustainability is good for all of us. Fashion is all about creativity, innovative solutions, having fun and expressing who you are. By choosing the sustainable choices, you show that you actually care about others, not just yourself.

So now, when we are talking about fashion it is time to talk about what Mary wore at the event. At the evening dinner the day before, she really impressed all of us with her new Hennes & Mauritz dress. At the opening she wore a lovely new off-white lace skirt. I have no idea who identified it first, but I am glad to they did. It is from Hennes & Mauritz from their Premium Quality collection. Pretty sure it is not the last time we are going to see her in this wonder. Imagine it worn with something navy blue, powder pink or burgundy. As goes with the first, she wore a brand new white button-down shirt found by Kate at Hennes & Mauritz (collection: Conscious Exclusive) as well. Mary embraced the style with feminine and classy accessories. She wore earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a diamond bracelet. I can't tell where it is from, simply because I do not know. Then we have a latte beige clutch from Naledi Copenhagen and nude pumps from Prada. These pieces have been worn at several other occasion, both with trousers and other skirts. Love how she manages to look this splendid with nothing else than a simply ponytail and natural makeup. I adore it when she wears these monochrome looks. Makes me wanna try something similar.

Around this time a year, it is time for the royal couple to host a dinner for representatives of sustainable fashion on occasion of the annual event Copenhagen Fashion Summit, which the Crown Princess will attend the following day. The special invited guests arrived one by one to the palace in Copenhagen. Among others attended Honduras' Presidential couple, H.E. Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado and his wife Mrs. Ana Garcia de Hernandez, model and actress Amber Valletta, the French Ambassador H.E. François Zimeray such as Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen and CEO of Danish Fashion Institute Eva Kruse attended the dinner. It was around dinner time, when the Crown Prince couple welcomed their guest at Frederik VIII's palace. The room was beautifully decorated with pink flowers. All guests were invite to attend the dinner as players in the question on sustainable fashion. I am sure they all enjoyed a wonderful evening.

Like the evening sun Mary dazzled in her new jacquard dress in navy blue, featuring an asymmetrical skirt. This stunning signature evening dress is from the Swedish fashion house Hennez & Mauritz (collection: Conscious Exclusive 2014). It is from their conscious collection, which is made of sustainable and organic materials with Amber Valletta as model. She also attended the dinner. A beautiful dress that is only to love. Mary is not the only royal woman to fall in love with this dress. Also Crown Princess of Sweden, here, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, here, have been seen wearing it on different occasions. Think all of them wore it beautifully. Each with their special touch. Mary was so gracious in her dress. Makes her looks incredible. Somehow I was surprised to see that she wore yellow Gianvito Rossi pumps at yesterday's dinner. Looks magnificent. I am impressed how she keeps surprising us with her outfits. A lovely match. She also embraced the style by wearing jewellery from, among others, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Especially her new earrings caught my eye. They are from Lynggaard's latest collection Magic CircusMy guess is that they are custom made to match Mary's personal wishes.
