Presentation of 'Crown Princess Mary Scholarship' 2012

Crown Princess Mary have accompanied her husband and mother-in-law when the Chinese Presidential Couple visited Denmark from June 14-16th.
On June 19th, she was back a work. She participated the presentation of 'Crown Princess Mary Scholarship' 2012 at Copenhagen University. The scholarships were handed over to Stephanie Arrowsmith and Johanan Ottensooser - both Australian exchange students. The scholarship is seen as a heldping hand for the Australian students while studying in Denmark.

It was more or less a private visit, when the Crown Prince Couple accompanied the Chinese Presidential Couple for a visit at Rosenborg in Copenhagen. Bet they were given a guided tour around the castle and maybe had a glimpse of the Crown Jewels, which are stores in exhibition at Rosenborg.

Arrival
The Chinese President Hu Jintao and his wife Liu Yongqing are visiting Denmark from June 14th-16th. On that occasion, the royal family welcomed him at Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen.
Both Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, the Crown Prince Couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attended the welcoming ceremony in Kastrup.

Crown Princess Mary visited the neurological department at Glostrup Hospital in Copenhagen. The focus was on rehabilitation of patients with blood clots - one or more.
It was a wonderful moment when the Crown Princess arrived and met her flower 'girl' 65 year old Else Weiss. When she handed over a bouquet of flowers to the Crown Princess, she couldn't hold her tears back.

Arrival in Nuuk

'The Children's Relay' in Ilulissat
The Crown Princess already spend two days in Greenland along with the Mary Foundation. On her third day, she visited Ilulissat to attend the very first 'Children's Relay' in Greenland.
Children from the Seminariet in Ilulissat participated the relay with grey joy. Crown Princess Mary handed over golden medals to the children when crossing the finish line.

It was a patron of Children's Aid Day that Crown Princess Mary attended the 20th presentation of the 'Little Brother Award 2012'.
The Children's Air Day supports more than 15,000 placed children and young people who live in a residential institution or with Forster families in Denmark.
The Crown Princess handed over the award to 17 year old student Niklas Matthiassen for his effort with a football club in Ballerup for children and young people with physical and mental disabilities. Steen Birger Hansen also received an award as night watchman at Møllebækken's department of Strandbo in Fjellerup.

Crown Princess Mary paid a visit to KFUM Soldiers Home in Fredericia. She has just been announced new patron of KFUM. She was given a guided tour around the homes and had a moment to talk to soldiers living in Fredericia and their families.

It was a great day, when Crown Princess Mary arrived to the Experimentarium in Hellerup to attend the opening ceremony of 'European E-Skills Week 2012'.
'European E-Skills Week' is a campaign focused on showing people how to get jobs through e-skills in the digital age we live in.
